George Baglatzis has been a Cybersecurity professional since 2012. In the past has served as an information security consultant as well as internal cybersecurity auditor for a Bank and an Energy Group (Oil & Gas, Renewables, Utilities, Petrochemicals, E-commerce). Meanwhile he has part time experience as a informatics rapporteur in educational/vocational institutes. Now he serves as Head of the Operations & Information Systems Security Division for a consulting firm specializing in industrial systems (Operational Technology- OT). He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Crete (UoC) as well as an MSc in Information Systems from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He has obtained, among others, the internationally recognized professional certifications Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
