Xenia J. Mamakou is a Laboratorial Teaching Staff at the School of Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and a member of the Business Informatics Laboratory (BILab). She holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) (2001), an MSc with Distinction in Business Information Technology from the Department of Computation at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), England (2003) and a PhD in Information Systems from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) (2010).
Dr. Mamakou has participated in research projects and she has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of Business Informatics, Databases, Decision Making, Information Systems and the Internet. She has been the author of two academic laboratorial notes, she has participated in the creation of five text books and she has published journal and conference papers in the areas of online privacy, e-commerce and social networks. Dr. Mamakou’s main research interests are in the areas of business informatics, online privacy, electronic commerce and fuzzy logic.
