Dimitris Bourantas is a Management and Leadership professor, (PhD in French), used to be Director of the Executive MBA and MSc of Human Resources Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Since 2018 has assumed new duties as the Rector of New York College.

He has written eleven best-selling books. In 2008, he won the National Book Center Readers’ Award. He has also published articles in internationally acclaimed scientific journals, such as: Organization Science, Journal of Business Ethics, Organization Studies, European Management Journal, Scandinavian Management Journal, Long Range Planning, Revue Francaise de Gestion, International Studies of Management and Organization, Technology Analysis and Strategic Management, International Journal of Human Resources Management, Leadership Quarterly, Employees Relations, Food Policy, Personnel Review, Journal of Applied Business Research, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Journal of Global Marketing, etc. He has presented scientific work in most respected Academic conferences including the Academy of Management Conference (USA, six presentations). He has also supervised PhDs that have been awarded the first and second European prizes (EFMD).

He has acquired substantive professional experience, having participated as an executive member of Boards of Directors, as well as having worked as a consultant and trainer for a large number of Greek and multinational companies, including: Citibank, Barclays Bank, CocaCola, Nestle, Unilever, Diageo, Nokia, Oracle, Vodafone, RankXerox, Pepsico, AIG, Roche, Credit Agricole, Pfizer, SAP, Siemens, Carrefour, BAT, Nokia, Lilly, Boehringer Ingelheim, Schneider Electric, Servier, Praktiker, Marks and Spencer, and Media Markt. Dimitris Bourantas specializes in the development of leading executive teams, change management, corporate culture, and the strategic alignment of companies and organizations. He has repeatedly been awarded the “Teacher Award” of the Management and Technology Department of the Athens University of Economics and Business. A large number of his interviews (more than 400) have been featured in the Press, daily and periodical, as well as on radio and television.
