Lefteris Mavromatis (Certified Chartered Accountant of SOEL) is a graduate of Business Administration from Athens University of Economics and Business (ΟΠΑ) and holds an M.Sc. Accounting and Finance of OPA. In addition, he holds the professional title of I.E.S.O.E.L. and the international title Cert-IPSAS of A.C.C.A. His professional experience includes auditing and consulting work on matters related to the organization, design and drafting of financial reports for public and private entities, as well as internal control. He has worked for a total of eighteen years in two international auditing firms (Grant Thornton and K.P.M.G.), with significant experience at senior management levels. Since 2020, he is a freelance business consultant. An important part of his professional activity regards professional education, with fifteen years of experience in financial reporting (I.F.R.S., E.L.P., and I.P.S.A.S. for the public sector) and financial statement analysis. Further on, he cooperates with certified educational institutions, among which I.E.S.O.E.L. Finally, he has published a significant number of articles and studies on financial reporting topics in professional journals and websites.
