Dr. George Lekakos is Associate Professor at the Department of Management Science! and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece. He is also Director of the MSc in Management Science and Technology. Before his current position he was Assistant Professor of e-Business at the Department of Information and Communication Systems, University of the Aegean, Greece. He leads the Intelligent Media Lab (IML), which is a research group within the ELTRUN Research Center (http://www.eltrun.gr) at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), Greece. He is Director of the FinTech Research lab of the! School of Business at AUEB.His research interests include Business Analytics, Recommender Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, ICT Strategy and e-business. He has been involved in several R&D and consulting ICT projects either funded by the EC or by Νational funds. He has been member of several consulting committees for the Greek State or professional associations (such the Association of Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, ! Greek e-commerce Association etc.). He is founding member of the EuroiTV steering committee, the ACM International Conference on Interactive Experiences for TV and Online Video and the IFIP TC14 working group on interactive television (WG 14.6).He has published more than sixty papers in leading journals (e.g. British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Operational Research, User Modeling and User Adapted Interaction) and conferences, and he is co-editor of books, conference proceedings, journals’ special issues and serves as editorial board member of international journals. He has been involved in more than 10 conference! program committees and Program co-chair of two international conferences.
