Dimitris Thomas has many years of professional experience in the field of Accounting. He works as head of the Accounting and Asset Management Department at the Deposit and Investment Guarantee Fund (TEKE), while in the past he has worked in the accounting department of a multinational company. In his current work, he is particularly concerned with the analysis and implementation of the existing institutional framework, supervises the preparation of financial statements and the preparation of financial reports, while he also deals with tax compliance issues and the provision of consulting services. At the same time, as a lecturer, he organizes and participates in training seminars on Accounting and Financial information, but also on matters related to Investment Evaluation and Feasibility Studies. He has a degree from the Department of Economics from the University of Athens and a Master's Degree (Distinction) in "Taxation and Auditing" from the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University. In addition, he has successfully completed Part I & II of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) international professional training certificate.
