Dr. Timoleon Farmakis is a Senior AI and Digital Transformation Researcher at the ELTRUN E-Business Research Center of Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He specializes in technology-driven business innovation, working on international research projects and collaborating with industry leaders on high-impact business studies at both national and global levels. Having supported new business ventures through the Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACEin), he now focuses on educating professionals, as well as bachelor's and master's students, on essential digital and business skills. He holds a PhD in Digital and AI Transformation for Business Value and Innovation from AUEB’s Department of Management Science and Technology. His background also includes an integrated Master (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) and an M.Sc. specialized in Engineering Management from the University of Patras, as well as an M.Sc. specialized in Digital Transformation of Cities from the National Technical University of Athens. Timoleon has participated in 2 international exchange programs at the University of Rome III and the Politecnico di Milano. He has published several scientific articles in international books, journals, and conferences.
