Irene Zografou is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Marketing and Communication of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). She obtained her PhD from the Department of Marketing and Communication at the AUEB, and holds an international MBA from the Department of Management Science and Technology at the AUEB, as well as an MSc from the Department of Business Administration at the University of the Aegean.

With many years of work experience spanning corporate training and development, project management, and customer service both within and outside Greece, Irene has garnered recognition for her professionalism and overall work performance, by the Emirates Group (Dubai, United Arab Emirates), where she previously worked. Drawing from her extensive professional background, Irene's transition into academia is fueled by her drive to investigate, through research, the impact of employer branding on business success.

Her research work primarily focuses on strategic HRM, employer branding, and organizational performance, with parts of her research being published in international academic journals such as the Journal of Employee Relations. Irene's work has also been presented at various prestigious international conferences, including the European Academy of Management and the Cranet Conference, among others.

Furthermore, Irene has served as an adjunct lecturer in the Executive MBA program at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has been actively involved in designing and co-teaching e-learning material for courses related to management in service-oriented SMEs at the AUEB. In addition, she has contributed to several national and european research projects. Finally, Irene serves as a communications officer in the HRM & OB Track at the European Academy of Management."
