Gounari Styliani

Stella is leading the Sustainability Reporting & Assurance practice in PwC Greece. She has been working at PwC since 2009 and has significant experience in the financial industry, participating in IFRS financial statement audits as well as providing other assurance services. In 2014, she became a member of PwC's IFRS technical department, gaining experience in providing IFRS advisory services with specialization in financial instruments (IFRS 9) and insurance contracts (IFRS 4 & IFRS 17). From 2014 to date, she has been involved in a large number of consulting projects to provide technical support on IFRS issues to listed companies and groups active in various sectors, including the financial and insurance industries.

She also has significant experience in providing training seminars to companies and groups operating in various industries. From 2021 and until 2023, she was leading the Accounting Advisory team of PwC Greece and she was a member of PwC's global center of excellence in IFRS matters. In 2021, she joined the Sustainability Reporting and Assurance team. She currently provides technical support on issues related to the implementation of the new requirements for disclosures of non-financial information, covering Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) issues with specialization in the implementation of the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the EU Taxonomy. She is a Qualified Auditor under the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece. She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She holds an MSc in Finance with a specialization in Investments management from Warwick Business School and an BSc in Marketing and Communication from Athens University of Economics and Business.
