Vasileios Casiotis is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Statistics at the Athens University of Economics and Business. His primary research interests include experimental designs, a topic which was the subject of his PhD thesis, as well as subdata selection for big data analysis. He has authored 9 articles in reputable international peer-reviewed journals. Currently, his postdoctoral research focuses on the selection of optimal subdata for regression analysis in the context of big data, utilizing principles derived from optimal experimental designs. Over the past four years, he has also been actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the Department of Statistics at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
