Tsachouridi Irini

Dr. Irene Tsachouridi holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior (with expertise in Positive Organizational Scholarship) from Athens University of Economics and Business. She has graduated from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the National University of Athens (with distinction), has received (with distinction) a Master in Business Administration (MBA, Athens University of Economics and Business) and holds a PhD (Department of Marketing and Communication, Athens University of Economics and Business). She has also obtained a PgCert in Higher Education from Queen Margaret University.

Irene is adjunct lecturer at Athens University of Economics and Business (undergraduate and post graduate programs of study), teaching modules, such as Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Positive Organizational Scholarship, Cross-cultural Communication, Business Administration, Introduction to Communication and Statistical Analyses in Human Resource Management. Moreover, she is adjunct lecturer at the MBA of Agricultural University of Athens, teaching Human Resource Management. Additionally, she is Programme Leader of Postgraduate programmes of Psychology in a private educational institution.

Her research interests center around Positive Organizational Scholarship, Social Comparisons in the workplace, Psychological Contract in the workplace and employee attitudes and behaviors. Her research has been published in international scientific journals with significant impact factor, such as Journal of Business Ethics, Applied Psychology: an International Review, Personnel Review, Management Decision, Management Research Review etc., as well as in collective volumes. Moreover, her research has also been presented at the most significant international scientific conferences of her academic field (e.g. Academy of Management Conference, British Academy of Management Conference, European Academy of Management Conference, European Congress of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP), European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) Colloquium).

In addition to academic teaching and research, Irene is the author of books of inner development and self-awareness (written in a symbolic way) and is further educated in psychotherapy.
