Marina Psiloutsikou holds a Ph.D. in Business Strategy and is a Personal Brand Strategist. She is a faculty member of the Department of Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses on marketing, business strategy and research methodology. She created two elearning courses for AUEB, namely "Research Methodology for Business and Social Sciences" and "Personal Branding".
Her research on business strategy, marketing and personal branding has been presented in international academic conferences and journals. For her research, she has received two Best Paper Awards. She has supervised numerous dissertations on Μarketing and Branding. Her work has gained significant attention from mainstream media; especially her research on customer behavior during Black Friday and the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 2022, she started a microlearning channel where she discusses personal branding and career management (youtube.com/@marinapsiloutsikou). She appears regularly in the media (Alpha TV, ERT, Naftermporiki TV, ΕΡΑ, SKAI Radio, Marie Claire, Mdame Figaro, Marketing Week, HR Professional, etc).
She has worked with major greek Ministries, organizations and companies as a consultant and trainer.
She is the author of three books; two on academic coaching and mentoring (DIOPTRA publications) and one on Research Methodology (Kallipos Publicationsl).
She has also served as a scientific editor for two academic books translated in Greek; namely, "Game Theory" (Broken Hill Publications) and "Social Scientific Research" (Propobos Publications).
