Marianna Skiada is a graduate of the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business and of the postgraduate program "Teaching of Technology and Digital Systems" of the University. Her PhD thesis, which is currently in progress, is in the field of Recommender Systems and more specifically deals with the generation of suggestions in fuzzy environments. She is a member of the IML research group of the Electronic Commerce and Business Laboratory (ELTRUN) of the Athens University of Economics and Business, has worked on research projects in business analytics, utilization of RFID technology in retailing, recommendations generation to the user, usability/interface evaluation, etc.
