Christina Giakoumaki holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing from the University of Piraeus (Department of Organization and Business Administration) and a Master's degree as well as a PhD in Marketing from the Athens University of Economics and Business, while she has conducted postdoctoral research at the Athens University of Economics and Business, entitled "The Moderating Role of Involvement in Co-Branding Relationships". She teaches at the American College of Greece (Deree) in the fields of Communication and Advertising, Brand Building, Digital and Social Analytics of the Internet and Quantitative Research Methods in Communication, at undergraduate and postgraduate level, while she also directs the postgraduate program of studies "Digital Communication & Social Media", in the School of Business and Professional Education of the College.
She has previous teaching experience, among others, as an Accredited Lecturer at London Metropolitan University in the subjects of Global Fashion Marketing and General Fashion Marketing at undergraduate level. He holds a Fashion Design Certificate from the London University of the Arts, Central Saint Martins, and has presented, in collaboration with the MBA of the AUEB and the Strategic Marketing & Communication company Ally, a series of seminars in the field of Fashion Business. She has published research in international scientific conferences and prestigious academic journals in the fields of Advertising, Marketing and Brand Management, among others.
