Leonidas Korres is a First Class Accountant - Tax Technician and Tax Consultant, with particular expertise in VAT and International Tax issues. He is certified by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) of the United Kingdom in VAT and International and European Taxation under the ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Taxation). He has many years of experience in consultancy firms providing accounting and tax services. He teaches these subjects at Higher Education Institutions as a guest speaker and is a lecturer at professional seminars. He writes regularly and his scientific articles have been published in some of the leading journals in the field (Business, Accountant, Bulletin of Tax Legislation, etc.) and on websites such as Taxheaven. He has graduated with honours from the Postgraduate Professional Training Programme for Accountants of the Institute of Education of the Institute of Chartered Accountants - Accountants (I.E.S.O.E.L.). He is a graduate of the Department of Business Administration and holds the International M.B.A. degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
