Markos Karabatsis (Msc Information Systems) belongs to the teaching staff (EDIP) of the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA. He is a co-teacher of the course Computer-based Solution Methods. In the framework of his duties at the School he has participated in the creation of best practices, designing, developing and supporting the IT infrastructure of the School that serves both education and research. To implement these infrastructures, it focuses on leveraging free, open source software and web programming. His responsibilities at the School and at the Digital Technology Laboratory for Technical Projects, which he has joined, change dynamically according to the modern technological trends, educational, research and development needs of the School.
