Konstantinos Kassimatis is Professor in Financial Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business since 2009 and Head of the Department of Business Administration. He has a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Middlesex University (1997-2000), a master’s degree in Money, Banking and Finance from Middlesex University (1995-1996) and Bachelor degree from Wolverhampton University (1992-1995). From 2009 to 2015 he was an Assistant Professor and from 2015 to 2022 an Associate Professor in Financial Management at the Department of Business Administration. From 2002 to 2003 he worked for the Risk Management department of Emporiki Bank. From 1998 to 2000 (part-time) and from 2000 to 2002 (full-time) he was a Lecturer in Finance at Middlesex University. His research interests include asset pricing, behavioral finance, country risk and portfolio management. He has published in various academic journals such as Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, International Review of Financial Analysis and others. He is a referee for several academic journals and an international publisher.
