Dr. Panagiotis Liakos is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Athens Univesity of Economics and Business, after receiving his Ph.D. on 'Distributed and Streaming Graph Processing Techniques' under the guidance of Prof. Alex Delis at the University of Athens. Panagiotis holds a BSc. in Informatics and Telecommunications and an MSc. in Computer Systems' Technology, both from the University of Athens. Panagiotis' research focus is on large scale distributed data management. He has hands-on experience with several Big Data processing frameworks and contributions to two relevant open-source Apache projects.
