Panagiotis Galanis is a Lawyer, Doctor of Law with honors from the Law School of the National University of Athens and Postdoctoral Fellow from the same school, from which he obtained a Law degree with honors and a postgraduate diploma with honors in Environmental, Urban Planning and Energy Law. He is the Managing Partner, founder of ENVLEX Group and head of the legal team, personally undertaking annulment cases before the Council of State.He has handled important cases of Urban Planning and Environmental Law, concerning land use, protected areas, project licensing, building permits, forestry issues, arbitrary, energy projects, RES, etc., either advisory (to investors and companies), or judicially, with emphasis on annulment judicial protection before the Council of State and the Administrative Courts of Appeal of the country. He deals with legal consulting and legal cases in Administrative Law (Environmental Law - Urban Planning Law) and Energy Law. He has participated with presentations in numerous conferences on related subjects in several institutions in the country, such as UoA, NTUA etc., but also abroad (University of Cyprus, ULB etc.). He delivers training seminars at Nomiki Bibliothiki and the Tsatsos Foundation (CECL). In addition, he has published numerous studies (over 150 studies) in scientific journals. He has over ten years of experience in Environmental Law and Urban Planning Law, having worked in Athens in these subjects for many consecutive years. He has written and published sixteen (16) scientific legal books. He is a Scientific Associate of the journal "Environment and Law", "Theory and Practice of Administrative Law", "European Law", "Journal of Administrative Law", "Applications of Civil Law and Civil Procedure". His written work has to date been cited by more than 200 other scientists as bibliography.
