Vana Papakitsou is a Psychologist-Sociologist-Criminologist with a Ph.D. from Panteion University, specializing in adolescent violence issues. She has received training in Systemic Family Psychotherapy at the Family Therapy Unit of the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica. Her interests encompass adolescent violence, domestic violence, child abuse, victimization, bullying, and violence prevention. Since 2004, she has worked as a psychologist in private, public, and broader public sectors, providing psychological support, psychotherapeutic interventions, and counseling to vulnerable groups, parents, and children. She has served as a coordinator in national and international research programs on gender-based violence and romantic relationship violence. Vana Papakitsou has conducted numerous seminars and workshops on violence prevention and psychological counseling. She has published articles in Greek and international journals on psychological, sociological, and criminological topics, contributed chapters to collective volumes, and authored the book "Forms of Violence in Adolescent Romantic Relationships."
