Short Overview
The educational program is designed for people during adolescence, namely high school students (gymnasium/lyceum). With a total duration of 30 hours it starts in early November with a 3-hour live/online opening ceremony to the premises of the Athens University of Economics and Business and ends in May (well before the school exams) with a closing ceremony (live /online). The lectures are 2 hours long in the form of livestreaming, Saturdays 17.00-19.00.
Learning Goals
At the end of the program, high-school students will:
  • advance their professional orientation and consider entrepreneurship as an attractive career choice
  • understand entrepreneurship in terms of sustainable development, economic, social and environmental impact
  • be equipped with entrepreneurship skills
  • be able to use tools to assess the viability of business ideas, and
  • will be able to dream their own future.
Program Value
  • The educational program is the only one offered online to high school students by a Greek University. It is designed in a way that encourages adolescents to become acquainted with the entrepreneurship ecosystem before finishing secondary school.
  • We have applied our expertise to create a short-term educational program that makes entrepreneurship an attractive career option for adolescents in a variety of scientific fields (medicine, engineering, pedagogy, law, agriculture, etc.). Through the program, the trainees will create an entrepreneurial mindset that takes into consideration economic, social and environmental impact, as well as concerns of sustainability and sustainable development.
Weekly Schedule
The program lasts 30 hours. The lectures will be 2 hours long while the opening and closing ceremonies (live and online) will be 3 hours long. Lectures are scheduled on Saturdays from 17.00 to 19.00.

Welcome pack and electronic folder (slides, case studies, self-assessment tests, practical exercises, etc.)
Learning Method Description
The trainees participate through Live Streaming from the place of their choice. This method provides the following advantages:
  • Education without geographical limitation.
  • The possibility interact with the instructor.
  • Online availability of the educational material free of charge).

Includes training hours with classroom, laboratory, or remote (via live streaming) instruction along with any breaks.

The total hours include hours of synchronous and asynchronous training, as well as additional hours of employment.

Vocational Education and Training Certificate
Trainees who successfully complete the program are granted a Vocational Education and Training Certificate of the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the Athens University of Economics and Business, which is accompanied by a Supplement to the Certificate, detailing the subject of the program, the thematic units attended by the trainee , as well as the training methodology followed.
Target Audience
The educational program targets high school students (gymnasium/lyceum) who have a strong interest in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and want to explore entrepreneurship as a career option.
Prerequisite Knowledge
High school students are approved if their responses to the three online application questions demonstrate a strong interest in entrepreneurship.

Cost
LIVE STREAMING: 600€
Installements

The participation cost of each trainee (high school student) in the program is 600 euros.

A 30% discount is available for three or more individuals from the same school (i.e., 420 euros). The student must include a document with the school's name on the application to be eligible for the discount. Participation in the program's live opening and closing ceremony, the welcome package, and the instructional materials are all included in the price.

The amounts of the installments are as follows: A) 1st Installment-Advance payment €200, B) 2nd Installment €200, C) 3rd Installment €200. In the event of a discount, the amounts are as follows: A) 1st Installment - Advance €200, B) 2nd Installment €220.

After being accepted into the program, trainees receive an email with information on the installment amounts and associated deadlines.

Trainees are informed of the installment amounts and related deadlines via email upon their acceptance into the program.
