Painesis Grigorios

Dr. Grigorios Painesis is a Researcher at Prague University of Economics and Business at the Department of Marketing. He obtained his Ph.D. in Consumer Behavior and Retail Marketing from Athens University of Economics and Business (2016), his MSc in Management Science and Operational Research (with Distinction, 72%) from the University of Warwick (2007), and his BSc in Marketing and Communication from Athens University of Economics and Business (with Distinction 9,21/10) (2005).

His research interests lie in the areas of consumer behavior, advertising, sales promotions, retailing, and marketing strategy. His work has been published in Journal of Business Research and Journal of Advertising, as well as in many proceedings of peer-reviewed international conferences (e.g., Academy of Marketing Conference, British Academy of Management Conference, American Marketing Association Marketing Educators’ Conference, American Academy of Advertising Conference, European Marketing Academy Conference, του Academy of Marketing Science Annual Conference, του International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association Conference, του Digital Transformation Society (DTS) International Conference και του International Conference on Research in Advertising).

He also serves as a Senior Data Analyst and Post Doctoral Researcher at the National Documentation Centre (EKT), of the Ministry of Digital Governance of Greece and as a Teaching Fellow at Athens University of Economics and Business. He has been working for more than 14 years as a Research Consultant and Data Analyst at the Athens University of Economics and Business and as a freelancer, specializing in quantitative market research (surveys, experiments, segmentation studies, perceptual mapping creation, marketing decision models). He has been involved in numerous market research projects (indicative industries pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, retailing, agricultural products, healthcare services, food & beverages, public sector)".
