Antonios Zairis was born in Piraeus. He studied Political Sciences and completed his Master's degree (MBA) in Business Administration. His PhD thesis was on Consumer Behaviour, specialising in Retail Trade. He has 35 years of experience as a General Manager in various Multinational and Greek Companies, and has served the Public Management through various positions. He has taught at the Athens University of Economics and Business, the Democritus University of Thrace as well as the Universities of Tirana, Prague and Berlin. He has published 3 poetry collections, "Anxious Wandering" (Gavriilides), the collection "Any Μinute Νow" (Idirepia) and most recently " Ladder of Memory" (Enypnio) as well as the philosophical essay "Still Time" (Thermaikos). In addition, he has authored 20 books, 3 of them in English, on Business Management, Marketing, Sales and Business Communication. He is currently a Professor of Business Administration at the University of Neapolis in Cyprus and Associate Vice President at the Hellenic Retail Business Association (Hellenic Retail Association).
