Petros Xepapadeas holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (June 2023). He earned his first degree in Informatics and his master's degree in Market and Production Mathematics from the same university. His research focuses on operational research with an emphasis on resource allocation and cost-benefit analysis. He has published four articles in scientific journals and six in collective volumes. He has participated in research projects related to climate change and environmental economics. Specifically, he participated in the MERMAID and OpenAIRE (EU-FP7) projects and in BRIGAID (HORIZON2020). His recent research work focuses on the optimal allocation of water resources. He is also involved in the LIFE-IP AdaptInGR project for designing Greece's adaptation process to climate change, as well as a project by the Bank of Greece for assessing the vulnerability of Greek regions to climate change.
