Konstantinos Drakos is Vice Rector for Financial Planning at Athens University of Economics Professor and Professor at the Department of Accounting and Finance. Before that he was Associate Professor (October 2012-August 2017). Prior to joining AUEB he has also been employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Patras (2003-2008) and as Lecturer at the Department of Economics of the University of Essex (2001-2002). After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Athens (Department of Economics), he was awarded a full scholarship by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation and completed an MSc and a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Essex. His current teaching responsibilities are Macroeconomic Theory, Finance for Banking, Finance for Insurance Organizations (undergraduate), and Quantitative Methods, Risk Management (postgraduate).
