Mpalis Rafael

Mr. Rafael Mpalis is a Data Scientist working in a high-demand company, developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. He holds a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Naval Science from the Hellenic Naval Academy, with a specialization in Electronics/Communications. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Information and Communication Systems from the University of Aegean and is currently completing his studies in the Master’s program (MSc) "Data Science" at the Athens University of Economics and Business, where he has demonstrated excellent academic performance.

He is fully proficient and specialized in programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL, GIT, and AWS, as well as having basic skills in programming languages like Java, R, and MATLAB. He has developed deep expertise in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Data Visualization, Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) techniques such as Classification, Regression, Clustering, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and the creation of tools using Large Language Models (LLM's). Finally, Mr. Mpalis has served as the Head of an Artificial Intelligence team for the MBA course at INSEAD Business college titled "Building GenAI Products and Business", providing essential guidance and implementing AI-based products.
