Short Overview
The purpose of this program is to equip participants with foundational theoretical knowledge, skills, and practical tools that will enable them to understand the significance and impact of Marketing within Citizens’ Society, as well as to design and implement effective Marketing strategies and tactics. More specifically, the program focuses on how various Marketing tools used by businesses or organizations operating within the framework of Citizens’ Society can be designed and executed to positively influence their long-term sustainability in the market. Special emphasis is placed on the analysis of case studies from both the Greek and international markets.
Learning Goals
Upon completion of the program, the trainee will be in the position to:
  • Understand the fundamental concepts and tools related to Marketing and its contribution to Citizens’ Society.
  • Effectively communicate a social campaign.
  • Efficiently mobilize the necessary resources for their organizations’ activities.
  • Solve real Marketing problems within their own work environment.
Program Value
The value of this particular program lies in the growing need for: a) the adoption of Marketing principles by organizations operating within the framework of Citizens’ Society, and b) the acquisition and development of appropriate Marketing skills and competencies by all individuals involved in Citizens’ Society. It is also worth noting that this program is the first of its kind to be offered in the Greek market. Thorough research reveals the complete absence of any equivalent educational program.
Teaching Material
The teaching material includes live presentations, group exercises, case studies, and powerpoint slides.

Evaluation Method And Final Grade Computation
The evaluation will be done by preparing a final project. The final grade with a score of 100 results from individual work that the participants will carry out and which will be delivered to the program's lecturers.
Learning Method Description

The trainees participate through Live Streaming from the place of their choice. This method provides the following advantages:

  • Education without geographical restrictions.
  • The possibility to ask the instructor questions.
  • Online availability of the educational material of the program (the entire educational material is offered free of charge).

Regarding the synchronous distance learning method, it is scheduled to take place in the afternoon hours (Monday to Friday) during the first two to three weeks of the months of November and April.

As for the two weeks of synchronous individualized one-on-one distance teaching, this will be arranged in coordination with each participant during the months of December and May. The presentations of the assignments will take place in person, in a synchronous format, during the afternoon hours on one day within the first two weeks of the months of January and June.

The total hours include hours of synchronous and asynchronous training, as well as additional hours of employment.

Vocational Education and Training Certificate
Trainees who successfully complete the program are granted a Vocational Education and Training Certificate of the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the Athens University of Economics and Business, which is accompanied by a Supplement to the Certificate, detailing the subject of the program, the thematic units attended by the trainee , as well as the training methodology followed.
Target Audience
The program is targeted to entrepreneurs, executives, employees, social workers, individuals who practice and implement aspects of social policy, volunteers, students, as well as anyone professionally related-directly or indirectly-to the Citizens’ Society and its actors (e.g., businesses, social enterprises, non-profit organizations, public and private law organizations with an emphasis on social entrepreneurship) who may be interested in acquiring knowledge regarding how Marketing science and its function can help and contribute to the achievement of the goals of a business or an organization operating within this Society. In addition, the program is aimed at anyone who has a personal interest in Citizens’ Society and the contribution of Marketing to it.
Prerequisite Knowledge
No prerequisite knowledge or experience is needed for someone to understand and follow this program. Also, interested parties do not need to provide any supporting documentation.

Mode And Frequency Of Communication
The communication of the trainees with the Scientific Manager and the trainers of the program can be carried out during the teaching and via email as many times as the trainees themselves wish.

LIVE STREAMING: 540€
Installements
The tuition fees for the program amount to five hundred forty euros (€540.00) and are paid as follows: €140.00 upon registration and the remaining amount in two equal installments (€200.00 and €200.00), one after the completion of half the program and the other before the program's completion.
Trainees are informed of the installment amounts and related deadlines via email upon their acceptance into the program.
