Short Overview
The AI Transformation program offers knowledge and practical tools for understanding, designing, and implementing business transformation through Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI). The program is structured into three key thematic areas:
  1. Artificial Intelligence and Business Transformation (AI Transformation)
  2. AI Adoption and Applications in Business
  3. Innovation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Participants gain theoretical foundations and applied skills to strategically leverage the capabilities of AI in business environments and organizational contexts.
Learning Goals
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
  • Understand the core principles of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI, and their strategic significance in driving business transformation.
  • Identify the key challenges and requirements related to AI governance, regulatory compliance and ethical AI adoption.
  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions across business functions, including customer experience, process optimization, and business model innovation.
  • Utilize AI tools and develop custom AI agents tailored to specific business needs.
  • Apply innovation methodologies to develop new AI products and servicesUnderstand the national and global AI innovation ecosystems and identify opportunities for strategic collaboration and organizational growth.
Program Value
The program empowers professionals to lead change in their organizations by leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI technologies for innovation, automation, and strategic decision-making. Participants gain hands-on tools, methodologies, and cutting-edge knowledge ready for real-world application.
Teaching Material
The educational material includes video lectures by instructors, texts, case studies, supplementary video tutorials with live demonstrations of tools, self-assessment exercises, and additional resources for further study.
Evaluation Method And Final Grade Computation
The final grade is derived from 10 assessment tests, each of which is scored with a maximum of 10 points. The overall grade is derived from the sum of the individual tests, with a maximum score of 100. A successful assessment requires at least 50/100, while the grades are categorized as follows: 50-75 (Good), 76-90 (Very Good), 91-100 (Excellent).

Hours of asynchronous training: 36
Includes training hours (indicative) using an asynchronous distance learning (eLearning) platform.

Additional hours of work are included (indicative) and may include individual study, writing assignments, participation in field visits, participation in exams, etc.

The total hours include hours of synchronous and asynchronous training, as well as additional hours of employment.
Weeks of training: 7
Weeks in which activities of any kind are planned are included.
Vocational Education and Training Certificate
Trainees who successfully complete the program are granted a Vocational Education and Training Certificate of the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the Athens University of Economics and Business, which is accompanied by a Supplement to the Certificate, detailing the subject of the program, the thematic units attended by the trainee , as well as the training methodology followed.

Prerequisite Knowledge
Participants should have the following knowledge and skills:
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation, and email management.
  • English competence at a minimum B2 level, enabling comfortable engagement with English-language materials and international practices.
Scientific Coordinator
Mode And Frequency Of Communication
Communication is possible through electronic discussion areas of the distance learning platform and via email. Although the program is conducted through distance, self-paced and asynchronous e-learning, each learner is assigned a teacher-advisor from the start. His role is to monitor the progress of educational activities, evaluate assignments, answer questions and guide the learner where necessary.
Cost
ELEARNING: 360€
Installements
The cost of participating in the program is 360 euros. Payment is made in two installments: an advance payment of 160 euros before the start of the program to confirm registration and a second installment of 200 euros during the program.
Trainees are informed of the installment amounts and related deadlines via email upon their acceptance into the program.
