Human Resources Metrics

Short Overview
The program strategically approaches the use of data related to human resources management (HRM) by organizations. Special emphasis is placed on the selection and implementation of Human Resources (HR) metrics that align with the organization's strategy. The program develops the desired quality characteristics of quantitative information, and participants are prepared for the identification and collection of information regarding HRM, both internally and externally to the organization. Techniques of analysis and common errors to be avoided in interpreting data and/or when evaluating reports and interpretations by third parties are presented. Significant attention is given to the critical evaluation of the data collection and processing results, as well as the communication of findings to convincingly support positive change. The program covers the relationships of HR outsourcing and consulting, with a particular focus on the opportunities and threats they pose for both parties involved in the agreement. The critical role of HR Metrics in improving the results of outsourcing for both the client and the provider is discussed.
Learning Goals
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
  • Critically evaluate what is most important and worthy of analysis in HRM based on the business/ organization strategy.
  • Explain which measurements and KPIs are linked to HR Metrics and how these contribute to deriving more comprehensive and accurate business indicators and measurements (at the business unit and organizational levels).
  • Handle and leverage key HRM indicators to investigate issues and inform decisions.
  • Prepare essential reports for senior management and other stakeholder groups, utilizing existing data from the organization.
  • Explore the possibility of implementing new tools for presenting quantitative data (e.g., MS Power BI).
  • Budget costs related to HRM.
  • Measure and present the results of key operations of HRM, specifically: Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management (Evaluation and Compensation), Specific projects.
Program Value
The program gives a quantitative approach to HRM, through introducing and familiarizing participants with key HR indicators, their calculation, application, and interpretation, as well as their connection to KPIs. Modern methods of communicating quantitative data are explored to fulfill these objectives.
Evaluation Method And Final Grade Computation

Learning Method Description
The program uses the eLearning educational method: learning takes place purely asynchronously (that is, on days and hours that serve the trainee, without mandatory attendance at a specific time or day), exclusively remotely (using a special educational platform via the internet from the trainee's area) and using digital educational tools such as video lectures, interactive self-assessment exercises, and other elearning tools that ensure effective and flexible individual self-learning. The program's training material becomes available at specific time periods, based on the training path followed, and then remains available on the training platform without restrictions throughout the duration of the program.
