Short Overview
The training program develops end-user skills in an HCM SAP S/4 HANA environment. The learner's hands-on experience is provided with individual access to an HCM SAP S/4 HANA (UX via Fiori interface) environment, which simulates a real business environment, with particular emphasis on end-user skills development while preparing for attending an SAP HCM development consultant certification program. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of End User SAP HCM capabilities by offering a live distance learning workshop and the possibility of individual access of the trainee to an SAP HCM environment. The instructor in the program is a certified SAP HCM development consultant.
Learning Goals
Upon completion of the program, trainees/participants will be able to:
  • know the basic concepts associated with and/or related to Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRIS)
  • know basic issues related to the role of ERPs and how their implementation affects the operation of the organization
  • know the basic features of SAP S/4 HANA (UX via Fiori interface) software and SAP ERP project implementation method
  • know modern SAP technologies with emphasis on those of HCM
  • navigate a real SAP S/4 HANA environment and perform basic transactions
  • know the data & information managed by the Employee Master Data in SAP S/4 HANA HCM
  • know the data & insights managed by the Organizational Chart in SAP S/4 HANA HCM
  • know how employee qualifications are directly correlated with organizational chart position prerequisites in SAP S/4 HANA HCM
  • produce basic SAP S/4 HANA HCM intelligence reports
  • manage the basic employee payroll calculation process
Program Value
Its uniqueness lies in the active involvement of the trainee through hands-on experience in an SAP ERP system that simulates a real productive work environment, with the continuous guidance of experienced instructors in the field.
Teaching Material
The educational material of the program includes:
  • Presentations (slides) of theoretical concepts and introductory topics for SAP S/4 HANA software and SAP S/4 HANA HCM subsystem
  • Manuals
  • Self-assessment exercises with indicative solutions (online tests, transactions in SAP S/4 HANA system and SAP S/4 HANA HCM subsystem)
  • Case studies (with detailed implementation instructions on SAP S/4 HANA system and SAP S/4 HANA HCM subsystem)
The educational material offered includes resources in Greek and English. The lectures are held in Greek (it is possible -if necessary- to do them in English). The multiple choice questions and the exam are in Greek and, if necessary, in English, while for the preparation of assignments, the trainee can use either of the two languages he/she wishes.
Evaluation Method And Final Grade Computation
The performance of each trainee is evaluated at the end of each module through an online exam that includes multiple-choice questions and/or through an assignment. The multiple-choice questions as well as the assignment requirements require the implementation of operations in the educational SAP S/4 HANA Information System that simulates a real business environment. Access to the learning material and activities of each educational module (except the 1st) requires the submission of implementation results and/or the online quizzes. Each trainee must achieve a score of > 50% for all educational activities of each educational unit (quizzes, assignments) in order to successfully complete the program. For successful completion of the program a grade > 50% is required for each educational module. At the discretion of the academic supervisor, each trainee, after completing his educational obligations, may be invited - via teleconference - to an oral examination.

Vocational Education and Training Certificate
Trainees who successfully complete the program are granted a Vocational Education and Training Certificate of the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning of the Athens University of Economics and Business, which is accompanied by a Supplement to the Certificate, detailing the subject of the program, the thematic units attended by the trainee , as well as the training methodology followed.

Target Audience
The program is aimed at graduates and students of HEIs and TEIs as well as professionals who are employed or wish to be employed in a position related to the subject of the program.
Prerequisite Knowledge
    li>Basic computer skills (word processing, worksheets, browsers, email)
  • Basic knowledge of Business Organization and Management
  • Knowledge of English at the B2 level as a minimum.

Mode And Frequency Of Communication
Communication between trainers and trainees is mainly asynchronous, through e-mails and/or personal messages through the training platform.
Cost
BLENDED LEARNING: 600€
Installements
The total amount of tuition is €600 and is paid in three installments. The first installment, of €200, is paid as an advance payment before the start of the courses, to secure the position, and the other two, of €200 and €200, are paid during the program. In the event of a discount, the above amounts are reduced proportionally. Especially in the case of a 20% discount, the above amounts are set at €480 (total amount), €200 (first installment - ??advance payment), €140 (second installment) and €140 (third installment).
Trainees are informed of the installment amounts and related deadlines via email upon their acceptance into the program.
